How to Vacation at a Nudist Resort

Here is a great article from www.ehow.com
Nudist resorts, which have been popular in Europe for years, are increasingly gaining acceptance in the United States. In fact, nude vacations are recognized as one of the fastest growing sectors of the travel industry. Baby boomers initially took the bull by the horns in embracing the nude lifestyle, but now people of all ages can be found spending their vacations at nudist resorts. Read on to learn how you can, too!

InstructionsDifficulty: Easy

Step1 Call before you come. Some nudist resorts require advance reservations, while others simply want the opportunity to find out a little bit about you before you show up at their door. An initial phone call also gives you a chance to find out about the individual rules and policies of that particular resort.

Step2 Leave your camera in your room--or better yet, at home. Most nudist resorts have strict policies regarding photography. Understandably, many nudists prefer to not have their picture taken. If you bring a camera to a nudist resort, always declare it upon check-in and never photograph another guest without permission.

Step3 Bring a towel with you any time you leave your room. You'll need it any time you want to sit down. It's considered proper nudist resort etiquette to sit on a towel while using the chairs in public areas. It's also a sanitary thing to do.
Step4Refrain from asking too many personal questions while you're there. Some nudists prefer to only use their first name while on vacation in order to protect their professional reputation back home. Be friendly with other guests, but never pry. If someone feels comfortable enough with you to divulge personal information, consider it a compliment.

Step5 Avoid engaging in any obvious sexual activity in the public areas of the resort. Nudist resorts are not sex havens. They are places where people can feel comfortable being in their natural states. Further, there are often children present. If you must have sex, do it in the privacy of your room.

Tips & Warnings
Some nudist resorts have policies limiting the number of single people who can vacation there at any given time. This is to ensure an even mix of singles and couples. Other resorts do not allow singles to come at all. If you're single, check with the resort before you go to find out their policy.

Most nudist resorts are really "clothing optional" establishments. This means you are free to wear clothes in most areas of the resort, if you wish. Typically, the only place where a resort may require nudity is at the pool.
