Naked time travel?

The Time Traveler's Wife is a new movie starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams. It's a sci-fi love story in which a man drops buck-naked into the past and the future. I'm not sure why he must time travel nude, but frankly anything I get to do nude is fine by me! Below is the trailer.

Too Much To Bare in California.

Susannah Lopez of the Santa Barbara Independent wrote an article recently about the Nude Beach Alliance and their fight to bring back a Clothing-Optional Section at Bates Beach.

From the article: "In spite of the complaints registered against the clothing-optional beach that contributed to the increase in enforcement of restrictions on nudity, advocacy groups insist that the positive effects of a nude section of Bates Beach will outweigh the complaints. Supporters have taken a closer look at the financial influences of clothing-optional beaches, especially focusing on tourist dollars. According to Allen Baylis, a director for the Naturist Action Committee, nude beaches can stimulate the economies of the areas that surround them, as evidenced by other communities that have opted to create clothing-optional stretches."

Also: "It is true that people have the right to feel offended or uncomfortable, but how much weight should their opposition hold? Should percentages of those in favor versus those opposed be taken into consideration? These questions are subject to extensive debate, and have certainly sparked the interest of nudists. “You know, people argue that ‘Beaches are for all people to enjoy’,” said Baylis. “Last time I checked, we (nudists) were part of all people.”

Do you eat breakfast naked?

According to "The Sun" a survey of adults found that a quarter of us eat breakfast naked. Which makes me wonder, what else do you like to do naked around the house? Feel free to post your comments below, or take the survey to the right.

Dinner and a Show........Naked

Anne Hart of the Sacramento Nutrition Examiner has written a nice article called "Naked came the diner: clothing optional eateries and bare stand-up comedy shows are booming". She spotlights some of the recent trends in nudism such as naked dinning, nude yoga, and nude stand-up comedians.

Day tripping 101: Essentials for a successful nakation

Our favorite naked journalist, Laura Leyrer of the Detroit Day Trips Examiner, has written another good article about nudism. This time, everything you need to know for a successful nakation! From the article:

"You don't need to be concerned about where you've put your purse or what to pack or how many bags you'll need. Just put some cash in your hat, grab your towels and your drink bottle and GO!"

Are you nude-curious?

Here is a good article from Timesonline about the new age of nudism.

Excerpt:

"So would you call yourself a nudist? No? All right then, I’ll rephrase the question. Have you ever been skinny-dipping, sunbathed naked, hung out in a nude spa in Scandiland or stripped off at a festival “for fun”? If the answer is yes to any of the above, then, chances are, you’re part of a growing type of nudist: the nude-curious."

and

"As opposed to the traditional hardline naturist philosophy that it’s our human right to be naked, for the nude-curious brigade, it’s all about taking your clothes off in your own time and on your own terms."
